 Editor and professional writer Anne Correia holds two English degrees: a bachelor's degree (with distinction) from Malaspina University-College (2004), and a master's degree from the University of Victoria (2007). She has worked on multimedia projects since 2003, including academic editing and writing, graphics and layout, web design/html programming and content editing, and professional writing. Her editing and writing experience includes both academic and commercial endeavours.
Based in Chemainus, British Columbia (Canada), Anne continues to edit academic books and articles for University of Victoria faculty in areas of Business, Humanities Computing and English. She has done volunteer editing and professional writing for a local community theatre group (press releases, rack cards, fundraising letters and other publicity documents). In addition to strong communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language, Anne has knowledge of academic formatting styles such as MLA (Modern Languages Association), CMS (Chicago Manual of Style) and APA (American Psychological Association).
