 I' am a thirty four year old house wife and mother of three teenagers. I loved school and got almost straight A's but due to family hardships I didn't complete high school.
I have always loved writing and it's been a major part of my life every since I can remember. I come from a long line of writers from both sides of my family.
In 4th grade I was one of the 4 students selected to receive a reward for my Brotherhood essay a contest that was held between all the local schools in the area.
At 15 I wrote a Cristian song that was recorded by another artist and then later recorded again by diffrent artist and for a while I received royalties off of it.
I mostly write poetry but I have written a few short Children's stories. I started taking a 2 year course on writing children's Stories and my first few assignments got rave reviews by my instructor. He went as far as to say that one of my stories was publishing material. I didn't get to complete the 2 year course due to the fact that last year I got shingles in my eyes and went almost completely blind. It took a long time but i'm well now and because my tuition is fully paid I can complete the course when it starts again.
I don't consider myself to be a great writer my writing needs a lot of improvement but I enjoy it and my biggest goal would be to have one of my children's stories published.
