  CAROLYN BOONE

Writer PhotoI am a native Georgian, born and raised in Augusta, now residing in the Metropolitan Atlanta area.

I am a retiree after working 30 years in the insurance industry. A mother of three, grandmother of eight and great grandmother of four.

Reading and writing have always been my passions. I am a child of God, who gave me the vision to write. I love to inspire others by creating and sending my own personalized greeting cards. When I am encouraging others I am also being encouraged.

Writing my first book has given me much inspiration. I hope as you read it you would be inspired
as well, and be led to pass it on to others.

  • Associates Degree in Computer Operations from Decalb Technical School in 1993
  • Two quarters away from receiving a Bachelors Degree from Clayton State

BookO Lord, give me the grace to be content with what you give me today; And more than that, let me rejoice in your choice of all you send my way. C. Boone

Be encouraged: Don't spend major time with minor people. If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not a friend.

To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect your values, goals, interests and lifestyle.

Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better. At first you think you are going to be alone, but after a while new peopl;e show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you are an eagle, don't hang around with chickens. Chickens can't fly!
