Hello ,I started writing this book 6 years ago.
Yes it should of been done earlier, but with six kids ,I didn’t have much time. I started this book for my kids , It stared out as a bed time story . Then my kids asked me to put it into a book. As my kids and there friend really enjoyed listening to it . So I put it on paper. In this period of time I end up been a single mom, so trying to finish it was hard. Well its done and there is more stories of Penny and her friends ,for all to enjoy. To my children ,Tyler, Josh ,Savannah and Katie, (Jacob and Ashley)

PENNY ADVENTURE
CITY OF LIGHT
Hi my name is Penny and I have a story for you
My adventure started on the night in mid summer. I was sitting on my bed when a greenish glow came down over the moon .As I looked out my window ,“closer” and “closer”, It came I leaped to me feet, I shouted ,turn and ran, but a hand graped me .
“let me go!”, “let me go!”, I scream struggling to pull back, but it just stood there grinning at me. I caught me breath
“Who are you?”, I asked ,What are you doing in my room?”.
He turned and snorted he had four legs and a lot of warts. He was shorter then me, the voices that came from him was soft and tender.
“I am”, Snort he said with a crackly scared voices ,I am hear because you are the chosen one.” Know time to talk “. Have to take you back with me. “Hurry”! clime on my back
Wait a minute ,I just can not leave anywhere .I don’t know.
“You hurry”, the Snort said .We have to go “GO!”,” GO!”, on my back “GO !“,GO!“,
I sat there looking at the greenish short Snort thinking what does he want with me. I am just a nine year old girl. I am not a chosen one, mom cant even get me to clean my room .I was off in a dazzle when Snort .
Snorted jumping and yelling “GO!”,” We Go“.
Fine I said as I climbed on his back.
Next thing we vanish throw a black hole came out the other side and there was a large forest with two rivers joined softly together .That’s when I saw a Goblin Castle with two very large Harry Monsters standing out front.
Snort yelled something and they let use in. It had a cold damp feeling, but a lot of orange torch lights hanging from the gray walls A unpleasant hairy monster inter the hall with a snarl .
The monster roared Welcome to Mystery Valley .Come into my chambers little girl. “Hurry now!”, come along ,he barked
So I went inside his chambers Snort fallen ,I still got nervous think this is a dream .Yes that what it was ,just a dream or some kind of a trap
Look little girl my name is Shaggy Beast don’t ask just listen. I heard you are a winsome girl said Shaggy loudly
Excuse me for saying this. Do you ugly brute have to speak so loudly. I just have small ears I cried out feebly. I do listen with them.
Shaggy snapped ,“little girl are strange aren’t they Snort?”. Don’t interfere just listen with bother ear or I’ll shell use terror to get you to listen . Now lets discuss, gather around Snort Shaggy crack out” Wait outside”, But Snort tried to say …..“Out!” Snapped Shaggy return later
So Snort left which made me feel unpleasant Shaggy turn and approach me
Listen little girl
My name is Penny. You uncouth I mutter.
Feel free to listen Penny ,you are interfering to much .Now my friend this maybe a surprise to you
“You have know idea” ,I mutter again
Shaggy grumbled, On a dark night someone stolid the City Of Light, home of truth and beauty, darkness descends and there is little hope that morning will ever come again You are the fearsome one ,to go into the dreadful night to walk for miles with your eyes open .To bring back glorious history.
Nonsense I think you’re completely mad this cause of action has clouded your judgment .I am not the one you want. I can not be trusted ,fear over comes me I said
I can trust Snort to insure your safety, he is coming with you .Along to carry out your instruction, he will not run away ,you can trust him replied Shaggy
Bang on the wall and once again returned Snort
You will be making a trip before long, something quite different for you said Shaggy charmly
“What?” answered Snort
City of Light with Penny
In a trembling voices Snort said “Trouble!”, .“Monster!”, “Nasty thing in the forest“.
I will not discuss it with you. You will be well-spoken Shaggy
You don’t understand something quite different could happen like a blustery wind “Cold!”, You have no idea cried Snort.
Grow up young fellow, it is done shouted Shaggy.
I tried to scream but it couldn’t reach my throat to endanger us like that its an outrage
Snort and I return to the hall, Off in my thought, when Shaggy stuck his head out into the hall and shouted, “THERE A CANVAS DOWN THE PATH.” “NOW GO”.
We turned and went down this path as the risen of moon stretched from the horizon across the water. There was the Canvas throw those lonesome woods it had a eeriness about it which made them nervous as they stumbled up the rough path with its stones .Penny started to yawn she felt tried not to say sleepy. Climbed in and started to sink into a soft sleep, but during the night Penny drifted in and out of sleep, until at one point that eerie frightening sounds brought her sharply awake. Penny pulled the blankets over her head. A unpleasant cracking sound were coming from behind the canvas.
“Surprise”
I screamed
“QUITE” Snort said ,I brought him along . He is a charming Gentlemen don’t you think?
Anything possible I guess
Vanish went the ghost
Aren’t you going to thank me? Asked Snort
“WHAT?”
The ghost, he will keep us company don’t you think? Asked Snort again
“YES”
The air was colder then water as I tried to fall asleep again. More then a half an hour later the darkness flickered .Glooming sort of places, rocks shrink ,tree cried and ice will weep.
“BOO”, What are you doing Asked the Ghost
Catching her breath Penny replied , “Trying to sleep”.
“Weak”. That don’t make sense. You look well
Need to sleep, Have a long day tomorrow, said Penny
When are you going to sleep?
Soon as you go away. “Scam!” I’ll give you a dime if you never come back, Penny yelled
“Whoosh” went the ghost- Hours went bye,
Penny and Snort their eyes clicked open, feeling no motion by the terrible cold. Penny peeped out from behind the canvas.
Well Snort we better carry out the instruction. If I what to go home again. Don’t think this is a dream, said Penny
“Dream“,” No Dream”. Well I’ll better find some food to take, think its going to be a long walk, said Snort
As we Started throw rocks and bushes and there was this big fat enormous Blob , he had a big head with a runny nose and a bulging stomach. He looked like a cabbage.
How are you? Asked Penny
“Don’t talk”, screamed Snort. He just a big fat dumbest. We have no time to chat, CITY OF LIGHT. “GO!”, “GO!”
Snort don’t be mean and rotten. He could help. He gigantic, bigger then use put together. Our you nicest? Asked Penny
“NO”. Its not any of your business ,said the Blob
Penny squealed, You nasty for someone that’s fat and ugly
“Jeepers Creepers”, the Blob thunder and roared then he shriek and moaned. Then he fell silent for a moment. His eyes rolled around in his head as if he were sorting out his thoughts.
Long time ago I was good to people around here. I tried to help others. Tell something started running all over at night causing trouble.
You are stupid to come out in the dark, there is no sun.
I am here to get the CITY OF LIGHT back
He was silent for a moment, finally he begin
There all kinds of goblin and monsters , big ones and little ones. With big fiery eyes and sharp gnashing teeth. They do rotten stuff, tearing thing up. There unhappy and miserable, you see they need the light. So old Shaggy Beast decided to do something about it(I begin to blush), Blob looked at me in the eyes and said “DANGEROUS’. At that moment Snort whack me on the side of my head
“ NO ONE KNOWN’S” said Snort
“Moaning and Groaning” Blob barked “Gonne Be Trouble ”,”More trouble”
Finally I said “What can I do?”
He looked at me with fear in his eyes and said
“Only One Thing To Do ,” “FIX IT”
What did you say? I asked
Got bad ears
My ears are just fine
He looked confused, Then repeated. You got bad ears, As he racked his brain.
Her lips clamped tightly ,then shouted. “WHY DOSE EVERYONE THINK I HAVE BAD EARS?”
You don’t lesson ,snickered Snort
“Shut up Snort”
Look you fat ugly thing, “Will you help use?”, Penny snapped

Yes or No, Penny snapped again

“OH”. You are miserable, “You”, “You fat thing, Kicking her heels
“ Okay”, you nasty girl and by the way my name is Cabby . Not fat and ugly. “Got it!” . I guess you need someone big and strong. You two put together couldn’t even heart a fly, laugh Blob . His laughter was like thunder
Penny turned and shut “LETS GO” as she started walking
Blob started to laugh again
“What’s so funny?” asked Penny
You are going the wrong way
Thunder clouds gathered as fog fled the air
The wind started blasting, tree came crashing down all over the place’s cutting into the thin air passing right through them. She felt her hand been pulled, pushed and and a voice got ugly “Get out of here, quickly it getting dangerous can’t risk ourselves“.
The hair’s raised on the back of her neck as the mountains grew more rugged .Dark ash gray, stone seemed almost black and all you heard at that time was the sound of there of there own footsteps. Running threw a ton of rocks and yawning tunnels along a river edge, a river full of water that got deeper. Penny slip and fell into the wild river waters. At that moment the sky had darkened even more. The branches of trees above whipped and rattled in the rising wind. Penny tried to scream but mouth and nose filled up, can’t breathe. Blob reached down and dragged her to the bank as he pulled himself to his feet. Penny shivered suddenly aware of how cold she was, Tired and sore and how close she came to death, she needed to rest. Blob was breathing slowly and deeply . He was calm
His eye’s dropped very slightly.
“Are you okay Penny?”
This is all my fault, she sobbed
Ignoring on what Penny said Blob kissed her lightly on the nose. I’m just worry about you that’s all, Blob said quietly ( could this be a friendship between the two of them, He thought of it as strange). Snort was to shaky to do anything.
“I’m all right”, replied Penny
“Okay!”, We can’t stay here said Blob waters rising , “warning of a storm” .
Snort started jumping up and down flapping his arms.
(OH OH ) look Friendly Ghost.
Were have you been?. Your wear to keep us company, but no you just vanish, come and go as you please, just no feeling for us little people he snorted.
( HA ) little people, you are just a four legged thing with lots of warts, you scared cat, “ooh cat is a bad name your more like a mouse“.
( BOO ) as Snort tumbled into a somersault, “look old knobbly can’t even stand on those wobbly knees and he got four of them“, “laughs Ghost.
Laughing so hard he slowly vanished .All of a sudden there was a hissing sound growing louder.
“I’m afraid!”, cried Snort
Something or someone tugged on his ear from behind. His heart pounding.
( BOO ) hitting him on top of his head.
“Why you scare me?”, whimpered Snort.
You scare easy ( scared boy ).
Everybody began to laugh, as Snort had jumped into Blob’s arms giving him a squeeze. Puzzle Blob snarled “You can get down.”
“I’m sorry”, whispered Snort.
“You must be mad”, “apologize, that was nasty of you ,” said Penny
You thought it was funny, “GIRLS” said Ghost
and Disappeared into the darkness.
Blob looked at me,
Well we spent so much time on Ghost. “You think we should try and move on?”.
“You know Ghost?”, asked Penny.
“No time to talk” said Snort.
A storm was approaching
Silence they turned and walked into the forest.
“There beneath that tree, “we will stay there tell the storm passes” said Blob
The ground was cold and wet, the air heavy with the scent of decaying leaves and damp wood. They sat in silence with the darkness and each other. There would be no trouble tonight. As they listen to the heavy silence that surrounded them. Blob finally leaned back against the tree and drew in a deep breath as he lowered his head and closed his eyes. But before doing, he gave is coat to Penny and Snort to keep warm. To them it was like a blanket. It was still dark , the shadows were starting to move. Penny stared into the cold, seeing shadows shifting deep . Shadows that were all the more disturbing because their form remained a mystery to her. At that moment Penny hands crept over the blanket that covered her and Snort. Her hand begin to knead the blanket heavily that her fingers were making a scratching sound against the fabric. The sound was drowned out by the pounding of her own heart., as she slept. Penny woke with a start, she laid there heart pounding still dark and cold. No one else was up yet. Later on the silence was dangerous, something grab hold of her arm. Her eyes were wide with fear, open her mouth to scream, ‘I’m not afraid”
“I know you’re not!”, Blob laughed
The air was heavy like ghost dancing in the wind, sending clouds of white rolling up into the air. Blob turn and told use we should head out. As we walk, there was two hills with rolling stones . ,all of a sudden we saw the top of what looked like a tower . As we walk closer there was a stone wall
“ What is this places ?“,I asked
“Just abandoned old tower‘, “Places of the Crane Necks. (Savage land)
She gaped the light of horror appeared in her eyes. Who would want to remain in this dreadful places. To in danger are lives.
Throw flickering shadows Penny asked,” Why do we have to be here, in this dreadful places?”.” I think there something in the Tower?” We need to find a way in. “The entrances, “Be Quit!”, You don’t want the Crane necks to come after us , said Blob,
I felt my hair-raising . My heart Stopping. I new now that my roll was about to start. I was so
afraid and lost in my own fear. When I heard a “scream” I look up and saw a Crane neck . They had Ostrich footing and a Bird billed human being. I will say they were well dressed in high fashion. He Looked like he was getting down to business. Out of know wear you could hear this all full sound “AI-YI-YI AI-AI-YI”
“I am goanna die!”, cried Snort he was grunting and snorting. The Crane necks started towards him ,“Grabbing!”
“No!”, I cried “let him go!”, I was terrified, “do something?”, I shouted .To my surprise. Two of the crane necks fell through the air. A thundering of a roar came across.
“GET OUT OF HERE!”, cried Blob.
“Ouch!”, stop biting me ,“oh god I’m going to die“,” am I dead”, Snort groaned as he was running.
“SNORT!” Your not dead ,Penny said in a small and frightened voice
(OOH-OOH). Thank god , cried Snort
(AH ) Blob we got a big problem and a lot of trouble. Penny told him
Crane necks by the hundreds, they were throwing spikes at use Some were driven into the stonewall of the tower. There were some climbing the walls with there feet witch were torn backwards at the ankles, there rear toe’s were adapted at there heals for gripping. A noise grew loud I turned and saw Blob dropped to his knee’s. the Crane necks grabbed a hold of him pushing him up against the wall so roughly that his head hit the stone. Blob groaned, his eyes flashed with anger. Giving a angry snarl and growl with a deadly blow and again. They came crashing to the ground. Blob had a nasty gash across his fore head. I offered to help , but he said “NO”, grabbing my arm
Pay attention find the entrances, trying to control his temper.
The chilly breeze was unbearable, I couldn’t hardly move. Fear for my friends, I know I had to do something
“But this isn’t right!”, Penny cried her voice wobbling, she was close to tears, “Please this has to stop”
Biting down on her tongue so hastily that she could taste blood. All of a sudden her eyes were like blazing coal or evil demon with flaming eyes.
“You ticked her off !“,said Blob
“ Clear off “, “Leave use alone”, “Go away”
“For get it“, the voice of a Crane neck was terse irritable
“ Why not”
“ You have not won yet”
“ That don’t make any sense, said Penny, “I don’t understand?”
“Go away”, “Just go away“, Penny eyes were scornful with one half raised eyebrow
Blob swallowed, suddenly his throat was very dry. Suddenly something happen and we fell throw the stonewall.
“Cool!”, Crane necks will not get use now whispered Snort
They ran across the muddy grass to the tower. As they got closer, they could see a blue glow of light coming from the top of the tower.
“Hey Penny”, Thanks for sticking up to those Crane necks
“ You think I am brave” asked Penny
Blob smiled, shrugged his shoulders , said nothing and turned and led the way. Making there way up the stone stairs ,to the top of the tower. All of a sudden , this person showed up in a cape with a silver chain around its neck
“Come with me ,I can help you
That’s when I knew it was a girl, she had a very soft voices
“Don’t be afraid”, she whispered
Stopped in frozen terror trying to get my self to move, as she led me to a little room. It was nothing I imagined. Mouth hung open . Blob and Snort stared at each other, but remain calm. There was a blaze of light that kept fading. Then shone brighter, then to my surprise it turn into some kind of dust.
“Is everything Okay?” ,”What happened?”, asked Penny
Go my friend -you are the chosen one , She held my hand and put the dust in it. She rapped the table with a wand. Feeling confused they were on the ground.
“Who was that?”
“ A friend “, You will find out later, I think, replied Blob
“Skippy Do Ad!”, The monster are gone, Penny they are all gone “Yoo-Hoo. Shouted Snort. Snort started to cry, “Does this mean Blob go away!”. “Don’t what Blob to go away“, “Want Blob to stay“. “Me don’t want to be alone”.
“SHUT UP!”
“You seem upset” “are you?” asked Penny
“YES”, Blob roared I find it hard to keep my temper when he is being “STUPID”
I don’t get it, “Who stupid?” asked Snort
“You are “STUPIED,”STUPIED”. Had lot’s of practice Snort, snapped Blob
I am very bright, just not very good at socially, said Snort
“NO Snort you are just a scared Snort”, laugh Penny.
OH! I know. Not cool, OH! Could we go please. Lets go right away
“NO” Blob said. Do you know how to get out, STUDIED, Blob was angry. So Stop and start explore and look for a way out. But not right away, Penny needs to rest.
Need to get out of what?. We are on the ground big guy. Now who is the “STUDIED” one. Hey there big guy, Giggled Snort
Blob was outrage I do believe your trying to make me look stupid aren’t you some how. He was a little ashamed feeling colour rise to his cheeks.
“Your blushing!” laugh Snort
“Am not”
“You are too “
“ Am not “
“Don’t be ashamed!”. “Looks attractive!”
“Hot”
“You shut your mouth you four legged runt as a rush of shyness came across him but laugh under his breath .
Hide and seek , don’t be mushy came to play,” play”, ( BOO BOO) grabbing Snort foot and yanked him upside down
“OW’, “ OH”, “AYE” , “GET ME OUT OF HEAR!” cried Snort in a desperate voice
Ghost put him down demanded Penny
“CRASH”
( WOO) in a very tiny voice (WOO ) As Snort managing to drag himself into a sitting position. You overgrown white thing. You didn’t have to let me fall.
“Hello every one!”. My good friends said Ghost
Not in my life time, snarled Snort
Everyone calm down said Penny
“No!”, said Ghost
“What?”, replied Penny
“Snort need to say sorry”
“Snort”
“OH!” not to that snob
Snort just say sorry “Okay”, I could always leave you hear.
“NO!”, “I AM SORRY” Snort shouted “NOW LETS GO!”, me have a stomach-ache
Blob rubbed his hands together, well lets get you back to Shaggy with that dust. He leaded over and whispered, (good grief I don’t think Snort could get you back)
Good grief “Okay”, I laugh
The sky grew a overcast and a chill wind came up
Can’t we stop for the night I’m getting awfully tired. Whinnied Penny. As they approached a part of the trail very near the river., not far were Penny fell in. The darkness climbed over the horizon sending across the cold earth.
A cold wet evening and the start of supper. The air filled up with the smell of turnips, (Wild Turnips) Penny knelt by the fire, her hand outstretch for heat. They all sat down and started to eat.
“It stinks here”, Snort announced
Penny smiled and held out her cup
“ More tea little girl” as Blob gave a chuckle , then handed her a refilled cup.
“I’m not a child”, in a disagreeable manner
Imagined that
“I hate turnips, Mine wasn’t cooked” as Snort took a pieces . He put it in his mouth and chewed. He wasn’t hungry but reach for another pieces of turnips. His throat was dry . He felt sick
For someone who don’t like turnips . You are sure pounding them back, laugh Blob
“OH O!”, Snort got up ,“think me sick“, “OH O!”, me need to poo
Snort was gone so long , the darkness still remained. Out of the corner of Blob eye, could see something moving between the tree’s. Not able to determine its shape or its target. It thrash about and then still. Blob turned towards the source of the sound .He raised an eye brow looking out into the woods. Blob walked into the woods ,the smell was disgusting making Blob dizzy. The smell hung in the air.
I think something died out here, Blob felt sick
“WHO DIED?”, as Snort sneaked up on Blob
“SNORT”
“WELL WHO?”, “WHAT DIED?”
“NO ONE!”
It seem something happen Your out here said Snort
“YEA”, something smell’s
“OH!”, That . That was me to many turnips, laugh Snort
“you make me sick”
“HEY!”, Feeling brave there “Big Guy!”, GEE! Talk about no privacy and I’m in the woods, “Goes to show, your not safe anywhere!”
Blob anger faded, replaced with embarrassment.
Blob returned and Penny was laying there laughing
“OH!”, “SHUT UP PENNY”
Penny didn’t go to sleep right away. Finely she had slept (BADLY), her rest disturbed by an unease . A gloom started , then lifted. There appeared the girl in a cape. I had a look of relief across my faces. I stared into her wondering why she was hear, (again), “Who was she?”, I wondered. You could here the fear in her voices as she spoke, “ Penny I don’t have much time , Just listen, “You need to go to Elf town!, you need to find a door“, “Go Penny!”. “Take this silver chain , I’ll keep in touch“.
“WHERE IS THIS DOOR!”
Find the door as her voices and her disappeared into thin air . Penny wondered what the new day would bring.
Good morning Penny in a cheerful greedy
“What!”,” What!”, as I look up and saw my mother. I got confused my head started to hurt.
“I’ve come home!”
“I’ve come home!’
“I shook my head!’
“Are you okay Penny?” asked her mother
I’m just fine. There was a sound behind me , as I turned, I saw Snort
“HOLLY!”, “SMOKE’S!”, Snort what are you doing here? , My mother will see you
“Hi”, as he climbed onto my bed. I couldn’t say a word. I sat there looking at my room, wandering why Snort was there and how did I get home. Should ask someone or am I dreaming. I laded back on my bed, my head spinning with thoughts. Waite a minuet I just asked Snort. I laid there confused looking at my ceiling thinking of my adventure and the friend I made. Then all of a sudden I jump of my bed with a gasp, “OH!”, “NO!”, Who stolid the City Of Light, “HO!”, “NO!”, I never found out , “NO ONE!”, said anything. Now I was puzzled., I sat back down on the bed shaking my head. I don’t know where to start I thought if I go back to sleep and I’ll wake up and this would be over,. Boy was I wrong. So I closed my eyes and Snort laid down beside me. During the night Snort fell out of bed . I looked down and started to laugh, Snort was embarrasses then he started to laugh and rolling around on the floor. It felt good to let things go , I was not looking fore ward to what ever came my way. Well this made us thirsty so we went down to the kitchen , went in and got a glass of milk and I jumped with surprise, holding my breath.
“What was that?” Asked Penny
“There nothing here!”, ,Snort replied.
The beam of light shinning through the doorway, I wonder were it leads. They tiptoed closer, the room appeared as before empty and dark.
“Leg get out of here!”, said Snort
“No!”, I’m going to have a closer look. said Penny in a broken voice as they went through the other doorway.
I’ll get a flashlight, “Snort look here?”.
“What is it?”, “what you find?” Snort whispered back.
“DOOR!”.
They crept closer, opening it slowly turning the knob,
“There’s the light“.
“We better get out of here!” , Feared Snort.
Opening it , started to go in sudden, they heard a
Thump .
“Someone in there‘,” I hear something!” ,said Penny.
“We better leave”, said Snort.
“No!”, replied Penny closing the door slowly behind them, off to explore ,disappear into the shadows.
Snort spoke, “Penny I am frightened ,it is so dark and the light is gone again“.
“Do not fear, I will turn the flashlight on” replied Penny, as she turned it on, in a sudden it burst
“Yew!” Snort screamed.
“Settle down we reached the end of something”, Penny said.
When they walked closer , not believe there eyes
In the dark you could see Witches , Ghost and a road between a wooden bridge with a graveyard and a church.
“I don’t understand!” exclaimed Penny “what we see in the dark“.
“You’ll get use to it, after a while. This is wonderful to watch!”, said a strange voice.
In a sudden burst Penny turned and so did Snort
“Not me!”, “not me!”, Snort screamed in a frightening voice.
“We are in some pickle“. “Run for your life.” “Go!”, “quickly run away!”, scream Penny Throw the wood into a tunnel. Terrified and Frightened ,they found a empty cottage . Gasping in horror Penny suggested they hid in there for the night . They tiptoe in .Later on that night as they sat there looking out the window in the moonlight . to see what was happening. Its sure was a paces for Ghost . In the glooming dark night a shiver came over Penny. Ghost rose in the shadow ,the hair stood straight up .I was terrifies, it dashed and disappeared then it made a hissing noise ,footsteps came closer to the door of the cottage. Outside of the house I took a instant look ,high above there was a ghost it looked funny . He was a short round fellow, he had a little head with pig pointed ears and a green eyes and a long beaky nose wearing a top hat.
“Who are you?”, I asked (No answer) “I’ll not let you in!”, Penny spoke
In a flash ,that was so fast ,the impossible happen, he was gone .I rushed outside there was no sign of what just happened, couldn’t image. All the Ghost and Witches were gone. Morning came soon I was broad seen it was still dark, lots of tree on the hill’s and small cottage all over the places with cobbles stones
“Snort!”. “Snort!”, Penny yelled “Get up Snort!” Penny yelled again. I ran back into the house got throw the doorway,( “Crash!” )
“Don’t hurt me!” “Don’t hurt me!” “Me know good!” , “Just a short ugly thing”
“Please know hurt” cried Snort .
“Snort snap out of it”, “Its me Penny” . Penny said as loud as she could
“Oh Penny!”, “Me scared!”, he cried
“I know!”, relax snort we ran into each other Penny said
“Well!”, “Why did you do that?” “Not nice hoot and holler for what!”, “Nasty girl!”, Snort, snorted
“Guess what?” .“We are in a place call Elftown!“, Penny said excitedly
“Oh!” ,“why are we hear?” asked Snort
“Don’t know!”, said Penny.
“Why!” asked Snort again
“Don’t know!”
“ Somehow that did not make Penny feel any better!” , “We will go look, see what we can find”
Snort said, “But first we - “Grumbling and Growling“.
“What Snort?”, Didn’t hear. “What was that noise?” asked Penny
My tummy, “Tum!”, “Tum!” “Talking!” It’s hungry, grumbled Snort
“Okay!”, Look for food , We will eat first then we go look ,‘Okay!” said Penny
“Okay-Donkey!”, Snort went looking in cupboards for food , he reached for it, the food started floating.
“Penny food alive!”, squealed Snort
“Nonsense!”, said Penny, “Hurry and eat, got to go look“.
“But!” , “But food moving!” said Snort .
!Snort Eat!” shouted Penny. “Food cant fly”
“Cant grab food!” laugh Snort .“Penny looked!”
The food wear spinning high above there heads
“I think we have a problem!” said Penny
All of a sudden the food started knocking on Snorts head , (gently) ,then in a moment one of the can food circle in front of Snort. In a rattle it said “,You were no t going to eat me!, Were you?” Penny and Snort wear in such horror, they could not answer .Then rest of the food returned back to the cupboard . The can started to laugh ,You two can close your mouth!, it just me” Ghost chance him self back to a sign of relieve Snort said ,“Bad Magic!”.
“Yes!”, You got to stop scaring use Ghost ,said Penny
“Why are you in Elftown?” asked Ghost
“Don’t really know”, replied Penny
“Well how do you know anything with scared cat with you ,laugh ghost. Laughing so hard he disappeared
“Oh I don’t like ghost ,he not so friendly” said Snort
“Hush now!”, he gone lets go look around said Penny
They went outside a ghost appeared
“Not again!”, moan Penny
“Boo!” Penny jumped and turn there was Ghost laughing, “Got you!”
“Oh ,I would like you to meet my father Gentlemen Ghost” ,these are my friends Penny and Snort .
“Good lord you are the ghost outside the house!“ said Penny nervously
“Sorry!, didn’t mean to scary you ,just don’t see to many elf lately ,specially at night!” replied Gentlemen Ghost.
“Elf!” “What Elf?” “I haven’t seen any!” said Penny.
“You my dear!” answered Gentlemen Ghost In such a shock Penny fell on her bottom not saying a word just glared at him.
“You okay!” he asked.
“No!”, “No!”, “You made a mistake” said Penny
“No!”, you are Penny Toad , “Yes” , “Well welcome to Elftown dear!”.
Penny felt herself shivering try to understand what he had said. I don’t believe it as Penny jump to her feet sticking up her noise. This came to a surprise .
“I am a bit confused!” said Penny nervously
“God elf are stupid!”, (in a very sounding voices) Penny struck the ghost in the faces ,That was not nicest, you disobedient child”, he shouted
“Well do you think calling me stupid was!”, “I certainly do not!”, shouted Penny with out saying anything more he dashed and disappeared.
“Well I don’t think I’ll remain with you!” spoke “Ghost. You harmed my father you “Witch!” (Disappeared)
“How did Ghost fine use?”. replied Penny Penny seem very wearied sitting down in front of the cottage door holding her breath. Afraid of what was going to happen next.
Snort looked at her in a bold voice, “Don’t worry! “I’ll stay with you!”, giving Penny a squeeze.
Some how that made Penny fell better knowing Snort is with her.
“I can’t figure this out!” said Penny.
“Look!”, whispered Snort.
Ghost appeared. “Come into the cottage!, father want’s to talk to you”.
Terrified and frightened they walked into the cottage, he was sitting at the table. Looking at Penny.
Gentlemen Ghost started laughing ,“you are like the rest of them stupid“.
“I’ll hit you again!” Penny shouted at him.
In a quiet voices he said ,“how do you do!” “welcome to my home!”, “come and sit“.
This is your house?”, “Oh!”, Nicest place you have”
“Thank You!”
They walked quickly towards him and sat down
“Well how do you know me?”, asked Penny
“My son” ,Friendly Ghost “He quit nosy”, “Why are you here?”, Gentlemen Ghost asked, “How did you fined this places?”
Rather nervously Penny said, “A door in my house, I don’t even know how I got home!”
Gentlemen ghost had a odd expression on his faces,
“My son I think you showed tell her!”
Friendly Ghost looked at her and said very nervously , “I was hiding in Shaggy chambers. There was a voices I never heard before. Said that the spell has been cast. Stopping Witches and Ghost from coming out in the day time ,only Fairs and Elvis You see we all get along, but seems this spell puts use all in danger.
“Why am I hear?”, “What about me?”
Just a moment Penny, let me finish . Also said Penny trouble ,she part Elf and Witch .She has the power to stop this spell. I remember Shaggy saying not to worry ,she not around here, back home ,I sent her home
Penny felt horrified. “So you know why I am hear then” “yes!”
“I sent for you!”
Sounding surprises. “So Snort knew all along!” “NO!”, “I told Snort to follow you, that it was Shaggy order“. “We need your help Penny” .“Its important we get this spell off before something bad really happens”
“Well, “How did you know I come!” said Penny
“Shaggy!”
She glared at Friendly Ghost razing a eyebrow
“ Friendly Ghost!, I cant help!”, “I don’t know anything, also Shaggy wouldn’t do this!”, said Penny
“Bag your pardon! you have to help!” , Shaggy is different from the rest of them .Cant be trusted!”
“I cant help!”, shouted Penny I cant help you!”, this is all a lie!”
“Penny stop!” , shouted Gentlemen Ghost. “This is not a practical joke!, it real important you help us!”.
Silence fell over her, she couldn’t imagine.
Snort voices was reassuring, “Penny I think this is a trap “No Good!”, “me scared!”
“I need you!”, whispered Penny
“Okay!”, “What we do?”, whimpered Snort
“Well need to find out what’s going on!, “Break the spell!”, said Penny with a faint hope. She locked at Gentlemen Ghost,
“Have any idea!”
“Cant say I do!”, he replied nervously
“There is something else!”, Friendly Ghost said
“Oh know!”, said Penny
“Hello guy’s. We meet again!” , Blob entered the house.
“Blob” scream Penny. Jumping on him
“How did you find us?”.
Friendly Ghost came to see me .Elftown not a places for you ,(DANGER), Hear to protect, Blob said in a deep voices
“I can’t imagine!”, “You are really hear!”, “I am so glad to see you!”, “Is there anything more going to happen!” said Penny
“NO”, Everyone! replied
“Me wouldn’t get scared!”, “You hear to help!”
“Yes!” Snort, “Yes I am hear to help!”, said Blob .“So you don’t have to be scared“.
“That will be hard for Snort”, “But thank you!” said Penny laughing
Blob started laughing to ,all of a sudden everyone else was to. Later on in the evening penny shifted restlessly in her chair. Sitting across from the fire, sipping on a steaming cup of tea. Knowing that she caught between two worlds with long night and equally long day’s. blob came over sat down beside her. He wasn’t smiling but his eyes were kind, she put her hand on his squeezing it. Penny started to cry, her eye’s filled with tears. Blob cradled her in his arms and wiped the tears away
“ What’s is it!, tell me!, I hate to see you upset!”.
“Forgive me!”. The girl in the cape told me to come here to Elftown, ”Why I don’t know”
Maybe it’s was for you to find out that all Witches of the forest will disappear forever. “That Shaggy lied to you and is using you!”
That sent a ice cold shiver down Penny back
“Who would want to disappear all of them?” asked Penny
“SHAGGY!”, Witches hold a lot of power’s
“WHY me?”, “WHY send for me?”
“ Because of the thing’s you do!”
“What things?”, asked Penny
(Everything),”Everything you do!”,”Everthing you say!”. It give you courage.
Snort laid there and listened to the two of them talk. Feeling uncomfortable, wishing he had courage and not be afraid of his own shadow. Also wished he would be accepted for what he was, ( strange and weird)
“ Look Penny”, “I just want you to know that I’m here for you” said Blob
“I’m lucky to have a friend like you!”
“You mean friends like use, You, Me and Snort”
“Absolutely!”, Penny started to smile with a overwhelming relief.
Penny felt the cold air on her cheek . Penny put her head back against Blob shoulder, just for a moment and closed her eye’s. Then she thought, “Who had the magic!”, it had to be about magic and who knew how to use it. Penny shook her head, that’s why I’m here, (I think), well anyways I promise to help”.
Early next morning they start down the path, heading back to were Shaggy is, on the way Penny thought to her self, why would Shaggy be doing this. “I guess”, “I will not know tell I get there!”. In a moment someone caught her by the wrist, shouting. “You will not causes any problems!”
“let me go!”, Penny pleaded
He pulled on her arms, glaring down at her.
“No let go of her!”, someone yelled
“I don’t believe it!”, “Shaggy!”, Penny screamed
“You have made a mistake!, “coming hear! thinking you can protect the village!”, snapped Shaggy
“Evil wild beast ,“Never!”. “Never let me go!”, cried Penny struggled to get free
“Oh my child, you’ll never live to full fill your destiny” said Shaggy
“On the contrary Shaggy that’s why I am hear!”, Blob said angrily
“Go away!, this doesn’t concern you”, replied Shaggy
“Yes she my friend and I will not stand for this!” yelled Blob as he walked towards Shaggy then the strangest thing happened, a door opened in mid air. Throwing Penny to the ground, Shaggy went throw the door and disappeared. Penny picked her self up and started running down the path.
“Wait!”, Blob shouted .
Penny ran on picking up speed
“Don’t go!”, shouted Blob ,“STOP!”
She kept running, finally Blob caught her on the winding path.
“Are you unharmed!”, Blob asked, trying to catch his breath.
“Yes!”, she rubbed her arm and wiped her tears from her face. Penny stood up and a wave of dizziness struck her nearly falling. In a instant his arm was firmly around her waist. Penny found herself leaning against his strength, she was shivering.
“We will set up camp” .“Let’s go!”. “Okay Penny!” asked Blob.
“Yes ,“what about Shaggy!”, said Penny.
“I’ll take care of the enemy” , “I will stay alert for trouble” said Blob.
“Hurry Snort!”, as they started walking on the path.
“OOH!”, “Shaggy going to pay”, shivered Snort.
“Come on Snort” said Penny.
“Slow down!”, Snort yelled “Your getting ahead of me!”.
“God Snort your slow”, you think you would be a lot faster, since you got four legs“, “Move it!” said Blob.
“Look who’s talking fatty!” snickered Snort.
“Alright guys ,knock it off” said Penny.
As they set up camp and got the fire crackly,
Penny grew warm, she dozed. Penny awoke to smell of food cooking. Penny sat up keeping the blanket around her.
“Hungry”, asked Blob
Penny nodded, “Yes”, I am starving, the smell woke me up“. looking at the food
“Its not much, but its some thing hot in your belly”.
Penny finished her share wishing there was more.
A voice hissed deep in the woods.
“You two hide, I’ll follow the voice”, demand Blob.
Running into the woods Blob followed the voice through the thick trees and twisted branches. As they hid .Penny thought for a minute puzzled about something.
“Come Snort!”, Penny said.
“No we stay!”.
Something seems strange ,walking straight towards the woods, deeper and deeper into the trees.
“Penny”
“Will be okay!” (hurry)
They came to the edge of the clearing with her narrow eyes she peered, trying to catch a glimpse. Couldn’t see to good but heard a gentle voice talking with Blob.
“Penny we got to get out of here!”, whispered Snort.
“Not yet“, “Who is he talking to!”, “I heard that voice before“.

“Penny let’s go“, Snort interrupted by pulling her back to the camp.
Penny eye’s were demon . When Blob returned back to camp
“You made her mad”, said Snort
“Why?”, asked Blob his mouth was set in anger. Gentlemen and Friendly carry no message. Give no help. Blob drew a rugged breath, thinking that the risk to be very small. He begin to smile again or nearly so , he know Penny needed all the help she could find-help she could trust. Blob hated the sensation of everyone staring at him. Penny caught his eye and flashed him a sympathetic smile. Penny all so smiled to herself, The wind whistled coldly over them and around them. Penny wonder, “What had the two of them been talking about. Had it been discussing me!”, she thought (They have not beaten me yet.)
They approached a trail that led along the shore of a large lake. In the very midst of the forest. The sky was unclouded with frost-bitten air. The white icing of snow covered all over the rich mountains tops. Tree and bushes of the forest glittered from the moonlight. They came to a mountain gorge, it separated it self from a passage. The passage was deep and narrow with rocks at the head of the path. They started to walk throw the passage the white moonlight couldn’t touch them . They went deeper ,just faintest shadow dance around them. The walk became steeper ,(the look of this is going to take hours to hike throw), growing loner with each step. They hugged the walls, the climbed up felling heavy and motionless throw the passage. There was a streak of down broke with a dusk of twilight. Falling into silences, delighted with their luck, the bright moon shine down. Showing them a village in sight. Snort started jumping up and down. “It’s Goblin Castle“,
As they started walking towards the castle.
Next thing they have arrived at Goblin Castle
“Boy!, “I am glad were hear”, said Penny
“Snort is there a another way in!” asked Blob
“Yes!”, “come” said Snort
They went around and there was a wood door, they pressed there ears against the door and listened. Shuffling sound on the wooden floor (WHOOSH) the door open, we quickly stepped back from the door.
Just cant keep away from here ,Shaggy said We all just stood there.
“Take them”, he scolded as the monsters came and grab us
“Big mistake!”, Blob said in a serious voices, Penny use the spell from your hands
“What!”, “What!” she stammered tightly,
“Pay attention!, “Concentrate Penny!”. Penny put out her hands, not knowing what was going to happen. All of a sudden a bolt of light shot out, jumped out in front of us and froze the monsters.
“How cool is that Shaggy!” laugh Blob, “you okay Penny”
I just grunted and nodded
“Well little girl, did you get the dust“. “Give it to me!”.
“Please!” , and “No!’
“I see trouble with your ears, you never listen, are you sure your not deaf”.
“NO!”, “I’m not!”, Penny said fiercely
Blob and Snort sniggered which turned into a full-blown laughter
“Shut up you two!”, “Now give me the dust!” “NO”, “Your not getting it ,you nasty beast” , “You lied to me, you’re a liar!”
“I ‘m not!”, “Your Jealous!”
!Jealous of what?”, “Why would I be jealous?”
“Because I have something that you’ll never have!”
“What that you lie and betray a trust?”, “That you wanted to destroy Elftown bye getting ride off Witches and Ghost. “Taking way light!”
“Shut up!”, They don’t need light.
“But its not you to decide that“. IT don’t work that way”
“SHUT UP!”, “you’ll be sorry”
“I’m not afraid of you!”
Penny and Shaggy were screaming at each other, their faces were inches apart. They remained like that for almost a minute. Their faces almost touching, eye’s locked
Shaggy look away and said, “You can’t even imagine what I’m going to do?”
Penny let out a scream a scream that would drive you mad, “PERHAPS!”, “but it rubbish, a betray of trust, you ugly brut!”
Shaggy grabbed hold of her arm, Taking the dust from her. Taking it and poured it into a bowl, then walked it over to the window held it up high and said….. At that moment a gloom shape appeared, then it started to break up. It was the girl in the cape.
In a soft voice she said “Stop or you’ll be doomed!”.
“Do you think you can stop me!”, laughed Shaggy , “I shall destroy Penny and never bring back the light“.
“Your wrong ,she holds the power, that’s why you sent for her”
“I got the dust ,I m the master of Goblin Castle”, Shaggy barked
“Well Shaggy she is the “Fearsome One” and the “Chooses One” .
“Never!” .He waved his hand and begin to say….but she rapped the table with a wand .In that moment Shaggy vanished out of sight into the hollow
“My dear take this dust to the window ,hold it up highs and say!”

. The City Of Light appeared with sparks .The Goblins and Monsters began to cry as they blinked into the sunlight. They ran toward the City Of light. Yes the sun came out and the spell been broken. Elf town will be safe and no more Shaggy
“Are you okay my dear”, as she removed her hood
“Holly smokes!” gasped Penny, “MOM!”
“Yes I m a witch and so are you!” , “lattés go home!”.
