Well, my name is Sarah Chambers and I'm from Fairbanks, Alaska. I was born in the 80's so you can tell I'm still pretty young. I was born in Orange County, California, and I still find that Southern California is a place that I am drawn to in a strong way.
When I was younger I wanted to be an artist, and to tell you the truth, I was a lot better at drawing and painting then I am now. I'm not sure how or why that is so, but it is.
My life has been anything but ordinary and I find that a lot of it comes into play with my writing. I have experienced a multitude of tragedies and only in very recent years have I been able to pick up the pieces and put my life back together again.
I have been writing since I was in middle school, and right away I was recognized for it. Not always in a good way, mind you, as I'm sure many other writers will relate to.
To be totally honest, I've never had anything formally published and that's why I'm here; because I'd love to start. I just put to paper the images and scenes that play in my mind, no matter what they may be or how they may come across.
I strongly believe that there is always more you can know about a person and that is why I won't tell you too much about me... I'd like to give more as time goes on.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Although I know that this is probably an area for writing accomplishments, I just want to put my greatest life accomplishment here, which was creating, with the love of my life, a baby that we will be expecting in August of 2005. That, by far, will forever bypass any writing accomplishments that I may or may not deserve.
- Sometime right after the turn of the millenium, I was hand chosen by a production company to be a part of a focus group consisting of young writers to help develop ideas for a television show. I can't go into too much detail, but I will tell you that it was intense, exciting, and extremely stimulating. And it was something that I never thought would happen to me.
- An essay I wrote for a band that I truly respect and love was recieved by a producer for MTV, though I'm not entirely sure how, and I was contacted about appearing on a show dedicated to this band. Now, some may think that I was chosen because of my passion for the band and I agree, but I do believe that the passion I did have could not have been portrayed without my ability to put it on paper.

MY NEWS:
It is nearly Easter, and my tummy is getting bigger along with my urge to develop bigger and better writing projects than I ever have before. Who knows what may come about.
