 I have been working in magazines since 1992 after passing a journalism course at college. I started out working for Paragon Publishing in Bournemouth (UK), writing for, proofing, launching and editing a string of popular titles - including Play Magazine - for which I achieved the highest ever ABC of over 100,000 before leaving to join Future Publishing in Bath(UK) in 2000. I was based in the games division there, editing Power Magazine before leaving to go freelance in 2001.
Since then I have written articles, features, reviews etc for a host of Future magazines, covered in staff absence (writing, proofing and editing) and have recently edited Official PlayStation Magazine, GamesMaster magazine and 101 PC Games magazine on a part-time basis.
So I have experience at every level of magazine production and am now keen to branch out away from game-based magazines into other fields.
