I was born in Phoenix, AZ in 1981. After moving around a lot as a child, my parents settled down in Nampa, Idaho. I struggled through my teenage years, and began attending Boise State University. Soon after my first semester, I met my husband, who is active duty in the United States Air Force. Through my many experiences as a person, I have become a passionate, capable writer.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- B.A. from Boise State University in May 2004.
- Working on a novel about self-mutilators (not published).
- Wrote a 12 page poem about separation of spouses in the military and the effects of war on young people (not published).
