 Aged 58, Proud mother of three and doting grandmother of four, I am fortunate to have been happily married for 38 years to a wonderful man with whom I am still madly in love. As well as my family, I love God, life, people and writing, not necessarily in that order! I have just published my first children's book. My writing covers short stories, articles, poetry, self-help books, instructional writing, marketing copy, business plans and reports, investment-raising documents and grant applications, and web copy. I am working on my first novel. Happy to consider almost any assignment. I have a passion for excellence, am totally dependable, and write more often for love of the craft than for money!

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Time for an International Motherhood Year: My first published work, printed in 1976 in a popular women's magazine attracted thousands of letters from readers.
- The Layout Course, a 1500 page, fifteen lesson self-teaching course in third generation visual computer programming sold thousands of copies worldwide and taught over 50,000 students the fundamentals of visual computer programming.
- Melanie's Easter Gift, a children's picture book for 4 to 8 year olds telling a touching story of Christian love and charity was published in January 2009 to raise funds for Leukemia research. Dedicated to my four gorgeous grandchildren and my youngest daughter, who regularly runs marathons for the Leukemia Foundation Team in Training program, this book was superbly illustrated by Jasmine Hambling and the colouring and page layouts done by my ever-patient and supportive husband. Now on sale for $9.95USD or $19.95 AUD.
