 Viki Ackland was born in London Ontario and now lives in Toronto. She studied creative writing and script writing as well as fine art, and started writing as a child. She had published various works of poetry in "In our own Words "Volume 3 and 4. " The Open Window "Hidden Brook Press, Volume 1,2 and 3, and various zines. Also the special "A time of Trial "an Anthony and tribute to 911, and had her poem from that tribute read on a CBC aniversary special. She is Assistant Editor on www.shebytches.com where you can view her writing, which has a funny feminist edge. She is also the creator of www.2-mile Jewelry.
