 I am a former elementary teacher turned stay at home mom. I am currently married to a wonderful husband and living in Tucson, AZ with our baby boy and fifteen-year-old cat. I am currently an editor/writer for a local home association newsletter and website, as well as a contributing event and feature writer for "Tucson Moms Link". I am an aspiring freelance writer/editor, specializing in parenting and educational issues, as well as children's stories, personal essays and poetry. MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Getting married before age 35 to a wonderful husband and having our first child.
- Becoming a stay at home mother, this is the toughest job anyone can ever have and love at the same time.
- Graduating both high school and college. Growing up, I did not care for school as a child and teen, but I learned the value of education from my father who was a teacher and always encouraged me to keep trying.
- Creating my own parenting site for others to share their stories, childhood memories and provide advice and support for others.
