I am a mother/writer from Wisconsin.
I have been writing for too many years to count, though I have been writing professionally for about 3 years.
My skills that could help are many, I have an ability to use written words in almost every capacity possible. Any thing I don't know, or understand, I am eager to learn.
Poetry
Is the love of my life, I have been published both on line and in print, and I have won several awards that have done wonders for my self esteem if not my bank account!
Research,
Finding information that is needed, I love to look things up on the Internet or at the library, or I might find the topic covered in one of my seemingly endless shelves of books.
Proofreading and editing,
Send me something you have written and want an unbiased opinion on or a second pair of eyes to double check for spelling or grammar errors. I completed a self study proofreader/copy editor course through Clarendon House Publishing.
Book reviews,
I love to read and I do it fast, a book of 800 pages takes me 3 days to read. My comprehension of what I have read is never compromised by my reading speed. I read everything, I have not found a genre that I would refuse to read, even if the subject matter is not something I am familiar with.
Transcribing,
Send me notes or an outline of what you want written and I will write it out in any style you wish. I am especially good at writing letters and magazine type articles.
Letters,
I have several word processing programs on my computer so that I have various tools that I use for different types of letters. Business, personal, education, I can write any type of letter you need, for whatever reason you need.
Cards,
I can create greeting cards, business cards, postcards or even note cards.
