Worked as a Congressional Fellow, Peace Corps Volunteer/Trainee, Program and Data Analyst, acting Public Information Officer at the National Institutes of Health, photographer and public affairs specialist for US Public Health Service, national writer-editor for the Bureau of Land Management's Heritage Education program, author/editor for individual States prehistory and archaeology student materials, and author for the Princeton Review's Smart Junior series (Random House). Have worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service in Alaska since 1998 as a technical writer and publications specialist. Continue working on freelance writing contracts and active with Alaska Sisters in Crime mystery and crime writers group.
