 Hello!
I'm a 29-year-old woman, I work for Scope, a registered UK charity. I was born in Rome. At the moment I live in the United Kingdom, and precisely, in Winchester, a city in the county of Hampshire.
I got an A-level equivalent high school diplome in Italy, focused on the classics. Now I'm trying to get a batchelor degree in Sociology.
I like computers and the internet; I build up computers, and I also design websites professionally.
I love myths. I loved to read the Greek and Roman ones at school, and now I'm deepening my knowledge by studying the Celtic, Norse, Chinese, Japanese, and Native American ones.
I love to read. My fave authors are Michael Ende, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jean M. Auel and J.K.Rowling. However, I also adore Tolstoj, Kafka, Dostojeski (sp?), Giovanni Verga, Italo Svevo, Italo Calvino, Luigi Pirandello, William Shakespeare, Jane Austin, the Bronte's sisters, Yoshikawa, Banana Yoshimoto, Jules Verne, Gustave Flaubert, Alexandre Dumas father . . . and all the ones I forgot ;). I well remember which was the first book that I liked: "The Neverending story," by Michael Ende.
I wrote my first "novel" when I was 11, and I never stopped ever since. Publishing a book would be my biggest dream; I hope that one day it will come true. I participated to the "wow factor" competition here in the UK and, although not being a winner, my manuscript was chosen by my branch for going to the regional selections. A good achievement on 3,500+ entries submitted for the competition!
