Overall, I have worked for about thirteen years in various capacities in both non-profit and commercial organizations that are involved in media, research, publication, and information dissemination work.
My first sojourn into journalism began when I worked for a non-governmental organization during which I was posted to Geneva to cover UN-related activities as a journalist. My formal entry into journalism on a fulltime basis happened seven years ago when I worked as a copyeditor for a weekly paper. This was followed with a job as a financial reporter for the news wire service, Bridge News during which I covered the financial markets and the economy and events that have an impact on both.
I also had a stint with a regional business magazine called Asia Inc, working as a writer covering business and financial topics.
I am currently working as a fulltime freelance journalist writing mainly on economics and business issues. My other interests include producing articles on environment such as on biotechnology, and on general development topics for various publications. The organizations which I have contributed article to include regional and international media outfits such as Asia Times online, Third World Resurgence and Inter Press Service.
I also offer copywriting services as well as write speeches, business proposals and press releases.
