 Good Blades are a group of red-blooded, libertine racounteurs waging war on the media, revolutionising British journalism. Good Blades have already conquered the internet, specifically the blogosphere, and are beginning their assault on the mainstream press, hoping to blow new life into the decaying format.
In 1960s America, radicals such as Tom Wolfe and Hunter S. Thompson created the New Journalism. Good Blades are inspired by them, however wish to become more avant-garde and reinvent journalism, finding new and innovative ways of writing.
It has also occured to the Good Blades the UK was never involved in the New Journalism, but willingly imitated this style. Good Blades writes in a way that represents modern day Britain.
Good Blades is made up of writers and photographers that have all worked for several mediums and publications in the past (sometimes together) and have now gone freelance, united under this one flag. Good Blade photography aims to accompany the unique writing style - blending real and surreal aspects.
They are willing and able to cover a range of topics and have experience in subjects as diverse as motoring news to international politics to underground music sensations about to break through.
