  JULIE GRACE

Writer PhotoI worked for several years as a Retail Store Manager and then as a Marketing Director, while raising four daughters as a single parent. The experience that I gained in both my careers, instilled in me that special drive to reach my goals and to never give up.

I am well grounded in my Christian faith and my work reflects my love of God, nature, and my fellow man. My favorite authors include: Tim LaHaye, Bruce Wilkinson, Jerry Jenkins, and Max Lucado.

I am also a self-taught artist and love to work in oil and pastels. I enjoy painting seascapes, landscapes, and portraits. I never tire of taking photographs of my surroundings here in the Midwest and use many of them for subjects for my artwork. In 2007, I started working with digital art & mixed media photography.

I was born and raised in Northern California and 2000, I moved to Lebanon, Missouri where I now reside with my husband, Joseph.

Echoes of the Heart is the story of a young girl and the changes she is forced to adapt to. It deals with events of daily life that most children have encountered, such as moving, school and new relationships.

She is brought up with Christian values and close family support, even though she has no father. She builds a solid grounding in Christ through the lessons taught by her grandparents. She learns to explore her abilities and build confidence, not being afraid to reach for the stars.

She also learns at an early age about the scars that death can bring, but through trust in her grandparent’s and God, she learns to accept loss as a normal part of life and move forward.
