Mrs. Mary Ikeh Arumona (my mother) concieved and later gave birth to 'Johnson O.J. Arumona' on October 5th, 1971. I had a pleasant up bringing.
Between the age of 8-12, I designed cartoons, sketched and made my own comics. I later started writing creative stories. In 1986, my short story 'The Breeze'won the literary contest of my College. As a 'gifted writer' I had always had a passion to write inspirational write ups, short stories and poems. All along I had desired to become a writer.
Some years later, after my father (who was a caterer) passed on. I took after him and I studied and became a trained professional caterer. I spent several years on my demanding job as a 'Food Service consultant.' However, I discovered that I find fulfilment in writing. There after, I managed to split my time, investing about 5-6 hours of each day to deverlop my writing skills, mostly at nights.
I am Idoma by tribe, from the clan of Orokam and a native of Adum-Aiona. In Ogbadigbo local Government area of Benue State, Nigeria.
Two of my primary goals in life are:
One:To literary promote the customs and values of Idoma Land.
Two:To become a successful writer/literary agent and support/discover talented and unpublished African writers.

The Busy Fool
If you stare into the midnight,
Worrying about your ever busy schedules,
That is the first sign that you will have bad dreams.
If you keep loving money,
And work very hard to become rich,
Even then, the longer it will take you to get what you want.
If you eventually succeed,
And become more successful than you ever imagined,
Like the grave your liabilities will widen its mouth.
And if you maybe save good money,
For the proverbial rainy day,
The more likely you'll lose it in one shady deal.
Do you have total control over your life?
Can you argue with a heavily armed soul?
Can you resist a mightier force?
Such is the fate of any fool,
Rebelling to accept the perfect will of God
For his life.
