I am 33 years of age and am a qualified journalist and public relations professional in the UK. I have worked as a general news reporter on the Scotsman ( a national daily paper in Scotland) and was Editor of a local weekly paper for 12 months.
After that I made the move into public relations and worked on a variety of trade and consumer accounts across the meat and drink industries. One of my clients was a 'beneficial waste recycler' and believe me if you can write interesting copy for that you can write anything!!
I've recently been doing some freelance journalism after having a two year break to have a baby.
I've always wanted to write a novel and am now in the process of writing my first.
