 My name is María Eloísa Ragozza de Mandrini ( Marita ).
I was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina), but I live at present in Pehuajó.
I am a teacher ( Normal Nacional ), I've got a degree ( Terciary level - Profesorado) in Psychology, Philosophy and Pedagogy also a Catholic Education teacher degree.
Since the year 2000 I have been participating in competitions , sometimes with the pseudonym Violeta Crucis.
Generally I write poetry and sometimes narrations.
My poetry is published into many Anthologies in Argentina.
I have published my works in Literary Magazines such as
" Nueva Avenida " from La Plata and " Redes de Papel" from Buenos Aires.
I have also been awarded in Literary Competitions where I keep sending my works ( Azul, Santa Clara del Mar, Buenos Aires, La Plata, Moron, Junín).The most important of these prizes were : 2nd Prize in Poetry in the Pehuajo Book Fair ( year 2000) and 2nd National Prize in the Competition for Poet Women ( year 2003 ).
On the next 14th August 2004, the Editorial Nuevo Ser will be presenting an Anthology of Stories of International Authors in the Paseo La Plaza ( Buenos Aires-Capital Federal ). In this Anthology , two of my works have been selected: " Sisifo Urbano " and " La Venganza de Poseidon ", this means my entering into the commercial and editorial world.
