 Raised in the Netherlands, I was luckier than most, being within a stone's throw from so many different countries, so trips taken with friends, family and eventually spouse, while single and married, for business and pleasure, from gravelly paths to super highways, in 2 seater planes and 200 seat jumbo jets, all make up a major part of my memory. Having travelled to over 60 countries, I am recalling some of the more interesting venues. This endeavour, is combined with the appeal of tastes and smells of all encountered and eaten meals.
