My name is Ron Arnett and I have spent the past twenty five years living the life of a big game guide in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Born in the small northern town of Fort St. John, B.C. I developed a love for the outdoors at an early age and have since gained a deep understanding of Mother Nature and the many species of animals that live in the Rocky Mountains.
During the past twenty five years I have kept a detailed journal recording the many breath taking adventures I have experienced. I have began to write these adventures in the form of short stories in hopes of sharing the life of a modern day mountain man with the thousands of outdoor enthusiasts across the world.
Having ridden hundreds of miles through the mountains on the back of a horse I have become an expert in the art of horse packing and mountain survival and have had the opportunity to lead hundreds of men through the high country in search of their dreams.
Although I have limited education I have been gifted with the ability to vividly display my adventures on paper and have developed a simple style of writing that is enjoyable and easy to follow.
