Hello,
My name is Linda K. Bray. I am a published freelance writer.
I have been writing almost all of my life. I was published for my first time at about age 10. As a teenager I was on the school newspaper and we also had a magazine, in which I was a key player. I began seriously writing in my late twenties and have been submitting my work, since then.
In the past I have always placed my writing on the back burner, the past couple of years I have been taking my writing more seriously and devoting much more time...for what I love.
I am a native Texan, I also lived in Arkansas for a short time and relocated to California about fourteen years ago. I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, singing, drumming, dancing, etc. I love people and animals...most of all life.
I am a political activist, a child advocate, very liberal and very spiritual. My spirituality comes first in my life, everything else follows.
I hope that you will pull up a chair, have a seat and stay a while. I really appreciate feedback and am always looking for ways to improve my work.
I believe that time is a true commodity for each of us and so I take the time that you have taken to spend here as a gift. Thank you for your time and I hope it is well spent.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- I have had the honor of being published in the company of Maya Angelou, by Blue Mountain Arts.
- I have been published in chapbooks, magazines, newsletters, and periodicals.
- My work is now available for view on several different websites and I am also being featured on several.

MY NEWS:
This year has been a productive year for my writing. I have produced several new pieces that I am very proud of. I am spending more time focused on my writing, a year for many changes and accomplishments.
