 I'm just getting into the "art" of travel writing. So far, I've been mostly "collecting" all my adventures and experiences around different countries.
I'm a passionate traveler of 31 years old. After graduating as a teacher in 1997, I backpacked in South East Asia for about a year. Then, I worked for two years in Belgium, and set off to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand for a year.
After that trip, it was time to work again for a couple of years and to save for my next adventure: touring the US, Canada and Alaska in a camper, with boyfriend and dog. After one and a half years, I changed gears and got stuck in California on a sailboat for a while.
My last trip just ended. On this one, my American boyfriend, his two lovely dogs and I traveled through Mexico and Central America with a truck camper for a year. We drove all the way to Panama and back, gaining a lot of experiences and exploring plenty of sights, in an unconventional way.
After all this traveling, I'm getting serious about writing stories, articles and a book. I've been writing diaries for 15 years and sent out travel reports every month to family and friends back home. You have to start somewhere! :-)
All my travels are on a low budget and I love my "work to travel" attitude. My goal is to combine those two awesome "hobbies" of mine: travel and write!

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Writing in my diary (in Dutch), every day, for over fifteen years.
- Writing travel reports (3-10 pages, in Dutch), once a month for over four years.
- Speaking (and writing English)for over three years, while traveling with an American and seeing lots of countries.
