I was born on May, 31, 1991 in New York and am a sophomore in High School. In 2004 during my freshman year of High School my English teacher made me realize my passion and love writing and reading. I started jotting down ideas for short stories and wrote mostly poetry. This school year I came up with ideas for some children's books, and a novel that I am now working on. The children's book idea that I cam up with was inspired by my 4 year old sister. The novel I am now working on was inspired by an experience that I had overseas in Yemen. My mother, brother, sister, grandmother, friends, and everyone that I know are inspirations for my writing.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- In 2005 I recieved an award from poetry.com for my poem called Vampire My Last Love. I changed the title of it to Dark Love. It was inspired by my best friend who was reading a book called Dangerous Girls by R.L Stine. This poem was published in the poetry.com book.

MY NEWS:
I am working on a novel about an experience that I had while travelling overseas in Yemen. It is about a a teenage girl Nora who travels to Yemen with he brother and father for the summer. There she meets her cousin and they both fall in love. But the story had a twist to it. Khalid is in love with Nora and tries to keep Nora and her cousin apart.
