 Hello, I am a poet and short story writer. I have been writing poetry and short fiction for over a decade. My work has appeared in various issues of Events Quarterly and has appeared in All Things Girl and The Persitent Mirage plus it has been included in several poetry anthologies. Writing is my passion and my lifeline. I enjoy it immensely and look forward to greater opportunities.
My favorite poets are Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Maya Angelou, Alice Walker and Tennesee Williams. Some of my favorite writers are James Baldwin, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Mary Higgins Clark, Toni Morrison and Terry McMillian.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Two of my poems will be featured in back to back issues of all Things Girl starting in April.
Several of my poems have appeared in Events Quarterly My poem entitled Tomorrow's Rain is in the current issue of The Persistant Mirage My poem entitled Let Go is included in the winter issue of Events Quarterly My poem entitled No Room For The Needy is included in the Autumn issue of Events Quarterly. My poem entitled "My Life Fell" is included in the summer issue of Events Quarterly. - I am the Administrator/Editor of a growing Poetry Forum called Echoes of My Soul Poetry Forum. It is for poets and writers to post their work for general comments and light critques. We have a NEW Poetic Evaluation Section for a more in-depth analysis!
- My poems entitled "Places I Have Been" and "All I Crave" "Unknown" have been published in various poetry anthologies. Also, my poem entitled "The Woman of All Women: A Tribute to All Women" was published in a poetry anthology.
- Completed three years of college and graduated from an in home writing course. I have joined several online writing groups where I have learned some very valuable writing lessons.

MY NEWS:
Currently, I am at work on a collection of my poetry. Also I am working on several new short stories and a few Flash Fiction stories that I will be submitting for possible publication over the next several months. I am also beginning to write my first children's book.
