 Yo. My name is Robert Brown, everyone calls me Bobby, I go by Depth.I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. I graduated from Taft High School in 2006. I have been writing poetry for about 2 years, and my long term goal is to publish a book of poetry.

My Proposal To Poetry
As I sit and read my old poems.
I reminisce on my old emotions and how i used to control em.
I know its been a while since I’ve conversed with my pen.
But believe me I’ve tried i just couldn’t get a conversation goin.
And since my pen is kinda shy, it never says the first word.
So the pressure has been on me but my thoughts haven’t been heard.
I guess i expected my pen to have the answers.
Cus my mind only had questions, i was helpless, i had a poets cancer.
With my new found faith i was able to overcome it.
Positive thoughts and positive energy is what kept me from it.
Now with this illness erased from my life.
I’m ready to speak up and I’m ready to make my gift my wife.
So I’m down on one knee proposing to poetry.
With no ring in my hand i have my soul open, allowing u to view this poets tree.
With this poets cancer now non-existent.
I can allow you in my mind and teach you of my existence.

Run To Me
Run to me, I'm here for whatever u need.
When the worlds against u, run to me, ur smile ill retrieve.
When ur sad run to me, ur happiness is somethin I can guarantee.
My goal is to make u feel right.
No matter the problem, ill be by ur side.
Early in the morning or late at night.
Loving u is job that has no clock out time.
Run to me for protection or just to be held.
When tears fall from ur eyes I feel like I've failed.
From sun up to sun down I'm here to make u as happy as u make me.
I'm writing this to reassure u that my arms are the safest place to be.
If it makes u happy jus come to me I won't put u thru a trial.
No matter the reason I'm here, I guess I'm selfish for ur smile.
U deserve the joy u bring me times infinity.
And If u don't see that, then let me take ur soul to soul virginity.
