I have been writing for ten years and have carried the dream of having my own book published for just as long. I started out writing poetry and am currently working on putting it all into print. Over the last few years, however, I have been working on my talents as a writer in prose. I am currently writing a mystery/romance short story as well as a children's chapter book. I have decided that in the process of finishing and preparing all of this for print, that I would like to try freelance writing to expand my knowlege and creativity in the world.

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- I have had numerous poems published in poetry books by National Library of Poetry, Iliad Press, and Amherst Society.
- I have also received several awards for my accomplishments regarding my poetry which include the Editor's Choice Award in 1996 and 1997 by the National Library of Poetry, honorable mentions by both Iliad Press and Amherst Society. I also received a certificate from the International Society of Poets for being a member in good standing for 1997-1998.

The creativity that is put into my writing comes from inspiration form my family, my friends, and life in general. These are the reasons I push myself every day to do the best I can to accomplish my dreams.
